Scrolling screenshot can help you screenshot the entire webpage. If you want to screenshot spreadsheets with lots of rows or columns, lengthy emails, chat, or social media threads, or long website pages or documents, scrolling screenshot must be the best way. Gemoo Snap offers two ways to scroll: “Auto scroll” or “Manual scroll”, both of the two are up to you, which lets you capture the webpage as you like.

Sign in Account

To start using Gemoo Snap, you need to first download and install it on your computer. After installation, open the application and a login window will appear. Enter your Gemoo account details, such as your username and password, to log in and access Gemoo Snap.

Note:

  1. If you are a new user, you need to create an account first.
  2. If you forget your password, go to our Reset Password page type in the email address associated with your Gemoo account, and we’ll send you a link to reset your password.

To begin capturing screenshots, either click on the Scrolling Screenshot icon located on the main interface or use the designated hotkeys.

Next, choose the scrolling type: “Auto scroll” or “Manual scroll” both of your choice. If you choose the Auto scroll, after the mouse drags a desirable region it will scroll the full page automatically. Or you choose the Manual scroll, after the mouse drags a desirable region you can capture the webpage by scrolling the mouse tab, and when to stop, it’s up to you.

During the scrolling process, you can stop it at any time and annotate the image to express your various ideas.

Next, click the Save and go to edit icon, you can go to the edit interface. Here you can annotate the image as you like, change the background color or add Windows mockups. etc. At the same time, the sensitive information will be redacted automatically.

Upload & Save

After the scrolling is finished, your scrolling screenshot will be uploaded to the Gemoo cloud automatically, where you can organize, manage or edit your images.

If you prefer to save the screenshots locally, you can turn off the Upload Clipboard Screenshot option. The saved screenshots can be accessed in the Gemoo Snap Local library. Here, your images can be managed and organized as well.
